Inmate Mail

You may communicate with an inmate via the U.S. Mail. We receive mail Monday through Saturday from the Post Office. All incoming mail with the exception of mail from court officials, attorneys, and public officials will be opened, inspected for contraband and then delivered. Both legal mail and privileged mail is opened in the presence of the inmate. NO packages will be accepted.

priority mail envelopes

hard cover books

laminate items / including tape

posters

no more than 5 pictures

pictures depicting any illegal activity

pictures depicting nudity or inappropriate activity

pictures depicting gang activity

polaroid pictures

personnel checks or cash (money orders only)

Any other contraband items including but not limited to drugs, powders, keys or liquids.

For the safety of all and for security of the institution, this list is subject to change and may be added to without notice or when the appropriate authority deems it necessary.

Only soft cover books are accepted and must come from a publishing company or vendor.
