Three ECSD leaders honored with Extreme Esteem Awards

We want to congratulate three great women in our Department who were recently recognized by Self Esteem Boston with its highest honor — the Extreme Esteem Award. The award was presented to Assistant Superintendent Jennifer Murphy and Reintegration Coordinator Cynthia Deleon at our Women in Transition Facility, and to Stacie Bloxham, director of our Supporting Transitions and Reentry Program (STAR) in Lynn and Lawrence.

Self Esteem Boston has been offering confidence-building programming for women incarcerated at our facilities since 2018 and is now offering the same program at STAR. Self Esteem Boston's programs are based on the concept that healthy self-esteem is the foundation for success in life and achieving life balance.

We congratulate Jennifer, Cynthia, and Stacie on receiving this award and say thank you to Self Esteem Boston for all they do for us.
