Research and Statistics

The Research and Statistics Division of the Essex County Sheriff’s Department strives to remain on the cutting edge of data collection, analysis, and presentation. The Division conducts research and analysis to produce daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual reports as well as ad hoc projects. Data supplied supports grant applications, mandatory state and federal reporting requirements as well as partnerships with educational, clinical and law enforcement agencies.
